My name is Gregory DuLac. I’m a chef by training with a degree in culinary arts and restaurant management, and I’ve spent years in both kitchens and management. I’ve also spent a lot of time in corporate America, which taught me the value of systems, consistency, and growth. In 2022, I purchased a small hot dog restaurant in McDonough, Georgia, with the goal of building something bigger—a brand that could expand across cities while keeping the quality and service of a neighborhood spot.

At Just Dogs ATL, we do one thing and we do it well: hot dogs. We char-grill every all-beef quarter-pound hot dog over charcoal—never boiled, never flat-topped—so you get that distinct flavor and texture you can’t find anywhere else nearby. Our menu includes the classics like the Chicago Dog with a poppy seed bun, neon relish, tomato, pickle spear, onions, sports peppers, mustard, and celery salt, as well as our own creations like the Hawaiian Dog with grilled pineapple, onions, bacon, and barbecue sauce. With over 27 toppings, guests can build their own or try something new every visit.

Our first location in McDonough has seating for about 30 guests and serves the local community as well as customers who drive in from surrounding areas. We’re close to Sun City Peachtree, several country clubs, and local businesses, which keeps the dining room busy for both lunch and early dinner. In 2024, we opened a second location in Atlanta inside The Halidom Eatery, a food hall in a newly revitalized area of the city. This location offers the same hot dogs plus one cheeseburger option, prepared with the same toppings you’d find on our signature dogs.

People travel to see us because we keep it simple—good food, cooked right, served consistently. That approach has earned us strong word-of-mouth, repeat customers, and even winners of Taste of Henry's Judge’s Choice Award in 2023. We also gained national attention after a food critic’s video went viral. We’ve grown to two locations, and an up and coming third location in Peachtree Corners, GA.
